The Parent Connection organizes Early Childhood Education (PS, PK, K) and Lower School (Grades 1-5) Room Representatives. Each ECE/LS classroom has one or more Room Representatives, as well as Classroom Volunteers. ECE/LS Room Reps manage funding for various class events and activities, plan and facilitate the Back To School parties, facilitate three classroom parties (Halloween, Valentine’s Day, and Year End), manage the classroom theme basket project for the Parent Connection Social Silent Auction, mind the students during their lunch period for the Staff Appreciation Luncheon, organize a monetary collection for Year End teacher gifts, and more. The Parent Connection provides some of the funding for ECE/LS Room Rep events and activities. An ECE/LS Room Rep has responsibilities from August through June.
